Bit Avengers Assemble!: 35-36, 834, 1112

From Sex-revenant Stan Lee to rage comics, we’re playing the hits this episode! Sean’s battle with the French continues as we cover the classic girlboss thriller, Diabolique. Then, we get another Clouzot (for the boys this time) with the classic guyboss thriller Wages of Fear!

The double dose of black and white French movies is a little much, so we return to our roots with some good old fashioned American Coen brothers fare. Miller’s Crossing teaches us the dangers of mixing the Irish and the Italians, while Blood Simple has M Emmett Walsh putting up his usual masterclass against a backdrop of blood, sweat, and nihilism. Thanos, eat your heart out!
